latex, silk organza, hand threaded
inspired by the wrapping cloths(보자기) that were used in traditional Korean culture. I made my own wrapping cloth piecing latex and organza forming a circle that reflects my fractured identity as a Korean American. Each stitch, movement, and choice is done by hand, signifying my continued work in accepting pieces of myself and creating whole.
